Dick Resch, KI chief executive officer, announced today that KI will begin construction on a $3.3 million expansion project for its Green Bay manufacturing facility.

KI is one of a select group of companies to earn the designation of “Green Master,” the highest tier in the Green Masters Program established by the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected KI as the 2011 WasteWise Packaging Reduction Gold Achievement Award winner.

KI ranks as the number one preferred furniture supplier for educational solutions, according to Contract magazine’s 2011 brand report survey. This is the eighth year in a row that KI has earned this esteemed ranking, which is based on the product supplier preferences of architects and designers.
